Kevin Brown has joined NGAUS as a legislative analyst.
His first day at the National Guard Memorial, the association’s headquarters in Washington, D.C., was last month.
Brown will assist the Army, Air and Joint programs. He will also help manage the semiannual Capitol Summit professional development event, which resumes in October after a hiatus during the pandemic.
“I am looking forward to working with the experienced team here at NGAUS,” said Brown. “By helping advance the mission and advocating for the Guard.”
Brown spent time on the re-election campaign for President Trump prior to NGAUS.
He has experience on Capitol Hill and the association sector having worked for the House Armed Services Committee and the Association of the United States Navy.
Brown received a master’s degree in international history from the London School of Economics.
He also attended George Mason University where he earned a bachelor’s degree in history. Brown is a native of Northern Virginia.
