First Lt. Brandon Kreikemeier had an apt description of his experience at last week’s NGAUS Capitol Summit at the National Guard Memorial, the association’s headquarters, in Washington, D.C.

More than 140 golfers, the largest number of participants in recent years, enjoyed a nice day on the course at the 28th Annual National Guard Educational Foundation Charitable Golf Tournament at Laurel Hill Golf Club in Lorton, Virginia, Sept. 28.

The two retired/separated representatives on the NGAUS board of directors unveiled the working concept to establish a new association task force at last week’s retired/separated virtual meeting.
