Who's Eligible
A NGAUS member and/or spouse under age 65 can apply for coverage. Unmarried, dependent children from 14 days to 19 years of age are also eligible to be insured. In addition, a full-time student up to 25 can be insured. Members/spouses age 65 and older are not eligible to apply for coverage. Eligibility is determined by simple health questions; usually no physical exam is required. No war or aviation exclusions. You are covered on and off the job 24 hours a day.
Coverage Amounts/Limits
You or your spouse each can apply for up to $250,000 in life insurance coverage if you are a member under age 60. Members and spouses age 60-64 can apply for up to $125,000. You can apply for up to $10,000 of coverage for each eligible child. If both you and your spouse apply for coverage, a maximum of $20,000 of coverage per child is possible. You can convert your term life policy to a permanent whole life policy with ReliaStar Life Insurance Company.
Enrollment Fee/Discount
Quarterly rates vary depending on the age of the insured or the amount of coverage requested. For renewal rates from 65 to 80, call 1-800-955-7736. One quarterly rate covers all children. You must be direct billed. Payroll deduction is not available.
Administrator and State Availability
ReliaStar Life Insurance Company, Minneapolis, MN. This benefit plan is not available in New York, Georgia, Mississippi, Oregon or West Virginia. Separate application for Ohio, South Carolina, South Dakota and Texas.

Technicians Insurance
