The National Guard and Reserve Equipment Account (NGREA) is vital to ensuring the readiness and lethality of National Guard equipment and weapons systems through innovation and servicemember-driven requirements.

Recommendation

The National Guard Association of the United States (NGAUS) strongly urges Congress to:

• Continue appropriating funds for NGREA within defense appropriations legislation, including a robust percentage for the Army National Guard and Air National Guard
