Nina comes to NGAUS after a distinguished career in the U.S. Air Force and retired as a Chief Master Sergeant (CMSgt), most recently serving at the Pentagon on the Reserve Forces Policy Board within the Office of the Secretary of Defense. Prior to that assignment, she served as the Intelligence Cyber Policy Coordinator with the Joint Intelligence Directorate (J-2) at the National Guard Bureau.

Over 31 years of combined active duty and Air National Guard service, Nina served in a wide range of roles spanning intelligence, recruiting, and senior enlisted leadership. She began her career in 1994 as a Signals Intelligence (SIGINT) Analyst, later transitioning to Enlisted Accessions Recruiting through 2003. Nina joined the Air National Guard in 2003 as a Production Recruiter, then returned to the intelligence career field supporting Operations Enduring Freedom and Iraqi Freedom. In 2018, she was selected as the Senior Enlisted Leader of the 223rd Cyberspace Operations Squadron. In 2022, she transitioned to Active Duty Operational Support (ADOS) orders, continuing her service until her retirement in September 2025.

She is the recipient of various personal and campaign awards including the Defense Meritorious Service Medal, Meritorious Service Medal, Joint Service Commendation Medal, Air Force Commendation Medal (x2), and the Joint Service Achievement Medal (x2).
