Reid K. Beveridge

Reid K. Beveridge, a retired Army Guard brigadier general, was editor of this magazine from 1981 to 1996. Other duties at NGAUS included his role as conference coordinator.
He also served as executive director of the Adjutants General Association of the United States.
Prior to NGAUS, Beveridge worked as a reporter at the Houston Chronicle and Wisconsin State Journal.
He served over 30 years in Army National Guard for multiple states (Texas, Iowa, Wisconsin and Delaware) before retiring from the Guard in 2000.
Beveridge holds a B.A. from Monmouth College in Illinois and M.S. from Columbia University.
