Conference Status

The NGAUS staff has received questions on the status of the 142nd General Conference & Exhibition, scheduled for August 28-31 in Boston. We continue to plan for the event. We are also closely monitoring the COVID-19 outbreak. Maj. Gen. Michael McGuire, the NGAUS chairman, and retired Brig. Gen. J. Roy Robinson, the association president, are considering possible courses of action. When the way forward becomes clearer, they will present the NGAUS board of directors with options for a final decision, which will quickly be shared with the membership.

As part of NGAUS's ongoing efforts to improve the member experience, we are utilizing RFID-enabled badges at this year's General Conference & Exhibition. This technology allows NGAUS to better understand which sessions generate the most interest and will inform how future conferences are structured. Attendance information will only be gathered at official NGAUS events and will not provide any data about non-NGAUS activities. Attendees who have questions or who would like the technology disabled may see a customer service representative at the full-service registration counter.
