Expansion of Space Available travel eligibility for reserve component members and gray-area retirees.
Recommendation Information
Amend 10 U.S.C. § 2640 to require the Department of Defense to authorize Space-A travel to, from and between OCONUS locations for:
· Members of the Reserve Components not on active duty
· Members of the National Guard in a drilling status
· Members entitled to receive a Reserve Retirement, but not yet receiving retired pay (Gray-Area retirees)
· Accompanying dependents of the above categories
· Members of the Reserve Components not on active duty
