Smaller PAO (Polyalphaolefin) cooling system servicing cart to troubleshoot and maintain the F-22.
Recommendation Information
A smaller PAO will save space and aircraft fuel. Having a more compact servicing cart is crucial for Agile Combat Employment (ACE) for F-22. Current PAO (Polyalphaolefin) cooling system is too large and heavy, limiting valuable space in the transport aircraft. Maintenance personnel are forced to remove other vital equipment, parts and other resources for one PAO cart. The PAO cart takes as much as four (4) pallet positions in the C-17 and will not fit into a KC-135.
