Proposal Statement
Providing mobile, fully immersive and comprehensive turn-key medical simulation training to support the National Guard's 68W Sustainment training Program of Instruction (POI).
Recommendation Information
Reminding all States of the requirement for 68W military occupational specialty (MOS) identifier United States Army medics to maintain their medical credentialing and certifications, currently a 2-year recertification requirement.
Encouraging all relevant agencies of the United States to collaborate more closely with States at the Army Reserve and Guard level to enhance the carrying out of 68W Sustainment training efforts.
Urging member states to comply with the 68W recertification goals of the Army Medical Department (AMMED), and stressing the need to streamline efforts to provide 68W sustainment training to all National Guard and Reserve medics by deploying a mobile medical simulation training solution.
Calling upon states to respond quickly and generously to consolidate appeals for rapidly deployed medical simulation training.
Requesting the implementation of rapidly deployable, turnkey, mobile medical simulation training, and assurance of 68W Sustainment assistance through development of mobile medical simulation training solutions.
