Recommendation Information
The capability to provide Mission Critical Push-to-Talk (MCPTT) deployable kits for each FEMA Region does exist. Several communication service providers offer MCPTT solutions designed for first responders and public safety agencies. For instance, T-Mobile has launched a Mission Critical Push-to-Talk service to support real-time, secure communication for first responders, government agencies, and businesses. Similarly, FirstNet, built by AT&T, offers Mission-Critical Push-to-Talk solutions that provide enhanced performance and situational awareness capabilities, ensuring interoperability and ongoing innovation for public safety operations. These services are designed to ensure reliable and secure communications during emergencies, aligning with the objectives of the proposed deployable kits.
