Recommendation Information
There is no requirement for ANG tanker crews to utilize Night Vision Imaging Systems, so there is no reason to retrofit the KC-135 with NVIS compatible lighting. The SOAR squadron that resides solely in the active duty is the only squadron that utilizes and has the requirement for the aircrew to use NVIS.
