Many Guardsmen start off in the Title 32 technician program before transitioning to the Active Guard and Reserve (AGR) program. During the transition to AGR none of their Title 32 Technician counts towards their Military Retirement. Many guardsmen spend multiple years in this dual status before they are brought on to the AGR Program. This resolution seeks to allow those who have spent time in the Title 32 Technician dual status program to "buy back" their service time and have it count towards their Active Federal Military Service time for their retirement.
