Increase M109A7PIM (modernized 155 Self Propelled Howitzer) funding for fielding 3 batteries per ABCT in FY 2023 – 2026.
Recommendation Information
Currently, Congressional funding is only approved for two (2) batteries per ABCT. Required funding needed for the 3rd battery for 1/34 ABCT, and eighteen (18) howitzers plus ammo carriers per ABCT 2023-2026 in order to facilitate modernization glidepath.
