Current programmatic efforts unfairly target the size of the ANG fleet over that of the Regular Air Force and Air Force Reserve Command. The ANG tactical airlift enterprise is among its largest, which is why the reduction of this fleet represents such massive risk to total ANG end strength. It’s also a fleet that serves the governors and the American citizenry in the homeland more than any other - by far!
