Provide National Guard Reserve Equipment Account funding for the acquisition of TB37000A Tow Bridle Load Out kit to support safe, quick aircraft loading and deployments.
Recommendation Information
Recommendation is to DELETE this resolution on the grounds that success in this effort has been achieved.
ARNG evaluated the requirement and resourced the Tow Bridle Load Out kit with a Basis of Issue of 2x each kit per TASMG Region. Should units need to utilize this equipment, TASMGs will ship to the end user. This approach maximizes utilization of the asset, while mitigating the costs of procurement and sustainment.
Additional kits are available through the supply system with an associated NSN, and a by unit cost that is below single credit card purchase thresholds. Should units have additional requirements that exceed the established basis of issue plan, they can use O&M funding sources for procurement.
Mass procurement has been executed to the extent with which it is required- no further large scale buys are anticipated for this item.
