Proposal Statement
Change item F to read, "Tactical Information Network System and Expeditionary Mission Command Node."
Recommendation Information
Warfighter Information Network-Tactical - or WIN-T, is a program the Army will soon divest and offer very limited support. No new WIN-T suites are being fielded as the program approaches sunset. The next generation tactical information network system remains under development and is a CSA-SecA priority and Cross-Functional Team effort.

This resolution change simply reflects our intent to concurrently field the next generation Tactical Information Network System, at echelon, with the active component. This program is vital to the entire fires enterprise to remain relevant and cross-compo operable.

Closely related is the US Army's transition of mission command nodes of our tactical formations. The ARNG Field Artillery enterprise is currently fielded with the M1068 Standardized Integrated Command Post System (SICPS) and the (semi-fixed) Deployable Rapid Assembly Shelter (DRASH). Both are incompatible with expeditionary mission command node operations required by the Army's shift to Large Scale Ground Combat Operations (LSGCO). Research and development continues on an approved next-generation expeditionary mission command node, most notably the Armored Multi Purpose Vehicle (AMPV) Mission Command variant. Inclusion of this system, at echelon, is vital to the survivability and inter-operability of the ARNG Fires formations.
