Proposal Statement
Provide an Electro-Optical/Infrared (EO/IR) UAS sensor/kinetic system that will provide: Full Motion Video (FMV), Video Data Link(VDL), increased Field of View (FOV), cursor-on target/infrared cueing, low-light television, hyper multi-spectral sensors, thermal imaging and a target laser range finder/designator capability on a Counter Unmanned Aerial System (CUAS) launch platform to enhance installation defense in CONUS and OCONUS locations.
Recommendation Information
CRITICAL NEED FOR SUPPORT - ANG and ARNG Security Forces (SF) are trained and equipped to protect CONUS and OCONUS installations from attacks from all forms of destructive unmanned aerial systems.

STATES IMPACTED - All ANG and ARNG installations CONUS and OCONUS.

MISSION CRITICAL NEED - The current equipment that is used does not provide the equipment to digitally communicate, provide adequate video imagery, or be able to find, fix, target and destroy unmanned aerial systems such as Quad Copters. An enhanced Electro-Optical/Infrared (EO/IR) Unmanned Aerial System sensor will provide; Full Motion Video (FMV), Video Data Link (VDL), increased Field of View (FOV), cursor-on target/infrared cueing, low-light television, hyper multi-spectral sensors, thermal imaging and a target laser range finder/designator capability as well as kinetic destructive capability in a Counter Unmanned Aerial System (CUAS) platform.

DEPLOYMENTJUSTIFICATION - With CUAS technology SF will now be able to organically find, fix, target, attack and destroy enemy unmanned aerial systems.

FUNDING JUSTIFICATION - Funding for program will be a candidate for the NGREA (APPN 0350) budget allocation USAF FUNDING TO DATE - AFSOC /SOCOM is procuring this capability for their base Security Forces.

ANG/ARNG REQUIREMENT - Every vulnerable installation location in the ANG and ARNG needs the capability to find, fix, target, attack and destroy enemy unmanned aerial systems.
