The Helicopter Step is designed to provide a safe work surface above the composite cabin roof of the UH-72. It attaches to pre-existing hard points for the external hoist to facilitate maintenance on the rotor system.
The Step is easy to mount, provides a slip resistant work surface, virtually maintenance free, and manufactured from a rugged and reliable design. It is capable of supporting 350 pounds, is corrosion resistant, and provides a greater than 2:1 safety factor.
