Recommendation Information
Current maintenance procedures for the removal of the Forward and Aft Bridge Assembly components (Bridges, Bellcranks, Tie Rods, Longitudinal Support Arm, Eccentric Bushings) utilize conventional aviation grade tools resulting in the potential for damage to surrounding components as well as personal injury.
The H-60 Bridge Tool Deluxe Kit (BTDK) obviates use of improvised methods to remove components with hammers, screwdrivers, pliers, pry bars etc., and eliminates collateral damage. BTDK specialized tool set reduces the time to remove components by 70% (saving cost) and decreases Non Mission Capable Maintenance (NMCM) to bring the aircraft to mission readiness faster.
