Proposal Statement
Provide digital forensic capabilities to support on-site, real time information capabilities to formations during both Defense Support to Civil Authority missions, as well as federal missions.
Recommendation Information
1) SFAB: Enable SFAB teams with a deployable mobile forensic solution that allows military personnel to collect evidentiary data in a forensically sound manner in order to properly reduce, mitigate, and identify potential threats during training of foreign personnel and installation security.
2) Counter Drug: Establish regionally aligned (East, West, Central) digital forensics centers of excellence that support agencies in surrounding states in the most advanced mobile forensic solution.
3) Civil Support Teams: Enable CSTs with a mobile forensic solution that allows intro-operability with law enforcement and CSTs by immediately collecting evidentiary data in a forensically sound manner during the response to explosions, CBRNE /hazmat scenarios, and other complex operations requiring immediate digital evidence.
