Acquisition of 12 Post-Block F-16 MTCs, with sustainment, at three additional ANG F-16 locations (McEntire, Fort Wayne, Boise Air National Guard Bases) to provide parity across the F-16 CAF.
Recommendation Information
Burlington, VT has converted to F-35s. Fort Wayne and Boise are converting to Block 40 F-16s from A-10s and will need MTCs to train their air crew, similar to other F-16s units. McEntire ANGB is the only Block 52 F-16 combat unit and remains without the capability to train to the high-end fight and support the National Defense Strategy and defend against Great Power Competition (GPC).
