Proposal Statement
The Army and Air force require pilots and crew members to operate at 100 percent as possible with proper sleep, nutrition and hydration. Proper hydration is critical for elevating human performance. However, those pilots and crew members require a safe and reliable bladder relief system to maintain focus and body functions.
Recommendation Information
Pilots and crew members lack a safe method for bladder relief that often pilots avoid proper nutrition or hydration and leads to hydrated operators which reduces awareness and performance. Additionally, when pilots need bladder relief, there is no safe and reliable method without losing focus, body control and excessive movements. Reduced operational readiness from dehydrated pilots and crew avoiding bladder relief and or increased risk with lose of aircraft control from attempting unsafe bladder relief. Overall reduced abilities with situation awareness, spatial disorientation and potential heat stress and fatigue. Safe aircraft operations with an alert, proper hydrated and aware pilot and crew, resulting in elevated human performance and cognitive function.
