The current 2019 resolution reads "Support the US Army Engineer School prioritization of the M113 replacement as the most critical system to be updated in the force." This would change the language to "Support full divestiture of the M113 platform in engineer units and fielding in the same platform as the supported maneuver element (i.e. Armored force with BFVs/AMPVs/OMFVs, Stryker with Stryker, Infantry with JLTVs, etc)." This change allows the NGAUS legislative staff to more clearly articulate the need over time, even if USAES changes their own prioritizations.
