Mechanical ammunition loading devices improve loading reliability, safety, and speed, increasing efficiency and throughput on qualification and LFX ranges, as well as saving critical time during downrange kinetic operations. Improving the speed of loading any NATO standard (STANAG) magazine with standard 5.56mm rounds to a rate of at least 90-rounds per minute through mechanical leverage reduces the personnel required to support munition details; current stripper clip and charger take 3-4.5 minutes to load 90 rounds. Additionally, mechanical ammunition loading devices are rugged by design, lightweight, and engineered to perform in austere environments with minimal maintenance; devices can be used in domestic or international, training or kinetic operations. Devices use a standard magazine release and may be able to be mounted to a table or used in a provided ammunition can improve performance and control.
