Recommendation Information
Currently, service members mobilized or activated under the following authorities are not granted important Title 37 benefits that are provided under 12302 (Involuntary Mobilization):
12304b (Involuntary Mobilization - pre-planned)
12301d (Voluntary Support)
Service members and their families should receive the same benefits regardless of mobilization authority. This is especially critical as many service members from the same unit will deploy for the same tasking under different mobilization/activation authorities. The specific Title 37 USC benefits required are:
37 USC 910 - Reserve Income Replacement
37 USC 436 - High deployment allowance
