Complimentary Members
The easiest way to introduce someone new to NGAUS is through a complimentary association membership. This annual membership is available to newly appointed officers and warrant officers, regardless of grade. It also has all the benefits of a paid membership, but at no cost.
NGAUS/AUSA Membership
NGAUS members have more educational and professional development opportunities thanks to a partnership with the Association of the United States Army. NGAUS members now have access to scholarships, networking and more after becoming an AUSA member free of charge throughout the duration of their NGAUS membership.
This opportunity is opt-in and members will need to sign up voluntarily.

100% NGAUS MEMBERSHIP Arkansas, Guam, Hawaii, Kansas, Louisiana, Mississippi, Nevada, North Dakota, South Dakota, Tennessee, Wisconsin and the U.S. Virgin Islands reached full NGAUS membership for 2025 by the June 30 deadline for membership to count toward conference delegates, seating and recognition. Membership percentages are determined by dividing the number of active annual and life memberships by the number of officers assigned.
ORAL HISTORY PROJECT NGAUS has partnered with Publishing Concepts, Inc. to publish an oral history publication that will capture the military stories and experiences NGAUS members have. Known as the Oral History Project, this program collects and archives stories from military association members and university alumni and compiles them into a book.
