NGAUS Employment: Deputy Legislative Director

(Jan. 7, 2014) NGAUS is seeking applications for the position of deputy legislative director. The position is fulltime and based at the National Guard Memorial, the NGAUS headquarters in Washington, D.C.

The deputy legislative director will assist in developing strategies for the legislative department. The successful candidate will also develop relationships with federal lawmakers and their staffs, prepare and present briefings and coordinate efforts to pass legislation, among other duties.

Experience with the legislative process is required. National Guard service is preferred. A bachelor’s degree or greater is required.
