NGAUS Washington Report
(Nov. 12, 2013) The NGAUS Board of Directors will hold its annual fall meeting this weekend at the National Guard Memorial in Washington, D.C.
Besides a busy meeting agenda, the weekend also will include a ceremony to honor Legion de Lafayette recipients.
The board will hear the usual array of reports from committees and staff, as well as an update from National Guard Bureau officials.
Representatives from the Adjutants General Association of the United States, the Enlisted Association of the National Guard of the United States and the National Guard Executive Directors Association will also brief the board.
Other reports will address the financial standing of the association, the status of the NGAUS Insurance Trust and more.
The full board last convened in person at the National Guard Memorial back in March, although the board held a teleconference in July, and gathered for a one-day meeting at the NGAUS conference in Sept.
