NGAUS Individual Membership

Commissioned officers and warrant officers of the Army and Air National Guard are eligible for NGAUS membership, as are supporters of NGAUS. Historically, nearly all eligible Guard officers have belonged to NGAUS. During your first year in the Guard, membership is free.

Associate Memberships are also available for those who do not qualify for the standard membership types but are interested in supporting NGAUS.

Membership is about more than paying dues. You become united in voice and action when you make a commitment to support NGAUS and its mission.

Complimentary

All newly commissioned offers and warrant officers are eligible for a free membership for a period of one full year and any portion of the year in which appointed. Membership begins upon initial state appointment, when reported to NGAUS, and ends in December 31 of the following year. You must join NGAUS through your state association.

You have 2 choices:

Active Annual

This membership, for commissioned or warrant officers of the National Guard, is paid annually in accordance with your pay grade. See dues structure. You must join NGAUS through your state association.

Active Life

This membership, for commissioned or warrant officers of the National Guard, provides NGAUS membership benefits for life. Dues are a one-time payment of $1,000, which may be paid in four $250 installments within a two-year period or one lump sum. You must join NGAUS through your state association.

Retired Life

This membership provides NGAUS membership benefits for life and is only available to former members of NGAUS who are also retired officers and warrant officers of the National Guard or who are elgible for retirement based upon National Guard service. Dues are a one-time payment of $125. You must join NGAUS through your state association.

Separated Annual

This membership is only available to former members of NGAUS who are also officers or warrant officers who have honorably separated from the National Guard. Annual dues are $45. You must join through your state association.

This membership is for National Guard family members, supporters or enlisted Guardsmen who are dedicated to the purpose of NGAUS and who is not otherwise eligible for other membership in the association. Annual dues are $45. Guard officers must register through their state.
