How to Join
Commissioned officers and warrant officers of the Army and Air National Guard are eligible for NGAUS membership as are supporters of NGAUS. Historically, nearly all eligible Guard officers have paid their dues and have belonged to NGAUS.
Active Annual - Click here for current dues structure. Membership may be issued to a commissioned or warrant officer serving in the National Guard. Dues to be paid annually in accordance with the pay grade.

Active Life - $1,000. Membership may be issued to an Active Annual member. Dues to be paid in four $250 installments within a two-year period or one lump sum of $1000.

Retired Life - $125. Membership may be issued to a former member of the Association who is retired from the National Guard or eligible for retirement based upon National Guard service. Dues to be paid in the amount of $125.

Separated Annual - $45. Membership may be issued to any officer or warrant officer who has been a member of the Association and is honorably separated from the National Guard. Dues to be paid annually in the amount of $45.

State - Membership may be issued to and in the name of a State. Dues to be paid annually in the amount of 25 cents for each member of the National Guard based upon the assigned strength of September 30 of the preceding year as furnished by the National Guard Bureau.
Honorary - By majority vote of the Board, membership may be issued to a Governor of a state or to any person who has rendered outstanding service to the United States, any political subdivision thereof, the National Guard, or the National Guard Association of the United States, Incorporated. Dues none.
Complimentary - Membership will be offered to all commissioned officers and warrant officers for a period of one full year and any portion of the year in which appointed. Membership begins upon initial state appointment, when reported to the Association and ends December 31 of the following year. Dues none.

Associate Memberships
For those who do not qualify for the membership types above, but are interested in supporting NGAUS, please consider an Associate or Associate Life membership.Associate Annual - $45. Membership may be issued to any person who is interested in and dedicated to the purpose of NGAUS and who is not otherwise eligible for membership in the association. This membership must be renewed yearly.
Associate Life - $500. Membership may be issued to any person who is interested in and dedicated to the purpose of NGAUS and who is not otherwise eligible for membership in the association. The Associate Life membership requires a one-time only fee -- no need to renew.
