National Guard Cuts Considered

Much rumored cuts to National Guard strength levels raises serious concerns about the future of National Guard forces. NGAUS does not believe it is in the National interest for the Defense Department to be forced to accept increasing mission loads and then adopt an “either/or” approach to paying the bill. We will oppose strength and funding cuts to National Guard forces which are demonstrably less expensive to maintain.
