• Contact or arrange a visit with your member of Congress using our NGAUS “Toll-Free” Hotline number 1.888.642.8799.  Just call this number and tell the operator who you would like to contact.
  
  
• Visit your legislators either here in Washington or when they are back in the local area. To arrange a visit, go to the “Write to Congress” feature found on our NGAUS web site, enter your “zip code” in the space provided and click on the “Info” icon found under the legislator’s picture. You will immediately be connected to all the contact information for your legislator (addresses, phone numbers, etc.).
  
  
• Be an active member of your state association, and plan to attend the annual state and NGAUS General Conference. Remember, “Joining is Just the Beginning”. You can make a difference by staying in touch with the issues, serving on a committee or task force, and participating in the political process. The future of the National Guard depends on us all taking an active role.
