AF/ANG Fighter Recapitalization

The Air National Guard along with teams of adjutants general and ANG leaders from around the country have been working together to chart the way ahead in ANG recapitalization.  The Air Force has initiatives as well, some of which may not be public. Clearly what is important is the Air Force’s commitment to a unified recapitalization strategy that fully recognizes the capabilities and economies of each of its three components.  To achieve the vision of a Total Air Force, NGAUS recommends that the Air Force pursue concurrent and proportional fielding of Air Force weapons systems.
