MILITARY CONSTRUCTION (MILCON)

Military construction funding has not kept pace with essential facility modernization, conversion and replacement needs of the Army and Air National Guard. Training and Equipment maintenance are hampered by inadequate, unsafe and unhealthy facilities. The high level of mission readiness required of the National Guard needs to be supported by functional training and facilities.  Military construction enhances the readiness of units.
