Speak Up, Speak Out

As a military officer and NGAUS member, you have unique insight into the special profession of arms that is the National Guard.  You may also have an interesting perspective on many other defense matters.  Share your opinion or commentaries with us and it may appear in an upcoming issue of NATIONAL GUARD magazine.*

Mail Call
Mail Call is our version of "Letters to the Editor" and runs in the front of the magazine.  If you have an opinion on a defense topic or something you read in an issue of NATIONAL GUARD, write us a letter.  It should be 250 words or less and include your rank, full name, state National Guard affiliation, phone number, and e-mail address (if applicable).

Last Word
Last Word runs on the last page of the magazine and is for short commentaries on Guard or defense-related topics.  Send us your commentary in 700 words or less and include your rank, full name, state National Guard affiliation, phone number, and e-mail address (if applicable).

Additional Submissions
If you have a Guard or defense-related article, review or print-ready photo, feel free to submit that to our magazine staff for consideration.  If your submission is selected, it may appear in an upcoming issue of NATIONAL GUARD. Materials will be returned if requested.
