NGAUS promotes events throughout the year that bring together members and other stakeholders to foster stronger relationships, to support professional development, and to establish priorities for the association. We also promote activities that raise awareness and funds for the benefit of the National Guard Educational Foundation and its programs.

NGAUS General Conference and Exhibition

NGAUS engages its members on the crucial issues facing the Guard, offers professional development sessions, welcomes defense leaders, provides social interaction, and plots the association's course for the next year.

Annual Industry Day

A benefit of our Corporate Associate Program, attendees can network with industry peers, hear from Guard leaders, receive briefings on NGAUS legislative priorities and participate in a mini-workshop on “How to do Business with the Guard.”

State Visits to NGAUS

States can visit NGAUS for a legislative briefing before “storming the Hill” to meet with Capitol Hill staff to discuss budget matters relevant to the Guard and your state/territory.

Annual NGEF Fundraiser Golf Tournament

Teams of golfers join in a friendly competition to raise funds for the NGEF. Past tournaments have raised up to $20,000 from participation fees.

Legislative Liaison Workshop

Held in early February after the release of the President’s budget, this workshop gives legislative liaison officers in the Guard an opportunity to hear speakers detail efforts on Capitol Hill to pass laws beneficial to the Guard.
